Mary Ellen and CJ,

Howzit going? Hope you fine folks are doing well. It's back to biz as usual here in Illinois. I sit in my cubicle all day, then go home to work on remodeling. Sigh.

Your website is fun to check out. Keep those photos coming! If my soon to be award-winning photo of Matt with the cactus and rising moon turns out, I'll send it along for your consideration...

Hey, this took a while to get around to. I guess because I feel like an e-mail thanks isn't enough for the hospitality and efforts you both made to show us your "backyard"! Surely you remember how "stoked" I was by my experience with you guys, so don't doubt my enthusiasm or gratefulness, okay?

Truly, biking on the 50-Year Trail and vicinity was an incredible experience for me. Getting the opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking part of Creation that you get to live in was in and of itself a mind-blowing event. Doing so with such openly friendly and fun people as yourselves just about doubled the experience!

You folks went out of your way to show us a good time, and to set us up from your "mobile bike shop." I can't thank you enough for the quality ride, quality gear, and the informed tour! I will never forget the raw beauty of the trails, the fun and challenge of the ride, nor the fine people who took us through it all.

It is great to know there are at least two genuinely cool people inhabiting this planet with the rest of us jerks!

I hope I find myself in Tucson again someday soon. If so, you can count on me begging for another bike rental! And maybe some jacuzzi time, too!

Thanks, thanks, thanks, you guys. You're the best! I'm serious, here.

P.S. Your pet rattlesnake was a great "brush with nature" touch, and it really added to the adventure. Keep that bit on your future tours! ;-)
